Hoot Acre Farm is a small, sustainable, local farm with three honey bee apiaries in Sarasota. Our bees freely roam the local ecosystem foraging pollen and nectar from local wildflowers, trees and palmetto. As an extension of our work, we supply our local community with pure honey, bee nucs, bee boxes, bee mentoring and bee demonstrations.
