Backyard Bees
Situated in Sarasota, Hoot Acre Farm is a small and eco-conscious local honey bee farm. With a strong commitment to sustainability, our beekeeper tends three honey bee apiaries. Our hardworking bees have the freedom to explore the surrounding ecosystem, gathering pollen and nectar from an array of local wildflowers, trees and palmetto plants.
In addition to our beekeeping efforts, we take great joy in supplying the community with an assortment of bee-related products and services. These include pure local honey, bee nucs, bee boxes, as well as opportunities for bee mentoring and informative bee demonstrations.

We also specialize in cultivating flowering trees. Our collection of trees is grown from locally sourced seeds, carefully gathered from within our very own community.
